MissionsYou can easily make a donation to the EARTHQUAKE RELIEF EFFORT IN HAITI. There are three ways:
1. Envelopes for donations are available in the Narthex (donations are tax deductable).
Please make checks payable to: ST. MATTHEW’S UMC.
If paying with cash, write your name and amount on the envelope to ensure proper credit.
UMCOR has a long-time relationship and presence in Haiti.
On the right side of the screen you will see “HOW TO HELP” Haiti Emergency “Give Now”.
3. Mail a check to St. Matthew’s, 30900 Six Mile Rd., Livonia, MI 48152.
(Please make check payable to St. Matthew’s UMC & indicate in the memo line “Haiti Earthquake Fund”).

A MISSION TRIP took place January 2008 to D’lberia, Mississippi (Biloxi area)
to work at the continuing relief efforts for Hurricane Katrina.
![]() St. Matthew's Mission Team took a trip to Costa Rica in the spring of 2005. Additionally, they went in the winter of 2005 to help with Hurricane Katrina relief projects. They helped many people repair their homes and make life more liveable. These generous individuals go out to share their gifts and talents with people in need.
