ScripKroger Community Rewards Card – RE-ENROLLMENT time!
Once every year, all of us have to renew our Kroger Community Rewards Card … beginning APRIL 1. Every time you shop at Kroger and swipe your Kroger card, Kroger rewards St. Matthew’s with a percentage of your total bill. It costs you nothing but it helps the church earn some extra money. In order for St. Matt’s to continue earning rewards for the May 1st 2011 to April 30st 2012 in this program, ALL MEMBERS (not organizations) MUST re-enroll at krogercommunityrewards.com beginning April 1st 2011 (just follow the online instructions). Any member who does not remember the email address they used - can call 1-877-KRO-PLUS. Kroger will remove any email address attached to the card and the customer can then go online to enroll again. If you do not have a computer or need help, see Gail Cruce or Lynn Kerchen on Sunday mornings in Fellowship Hall.

This program supports the mission of St Matthew's United Methodist Church as we strive to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to our church, our community and our world.
Scrip is "substitute money", and looks and functions just like gift cards
and certificates. Our program allows members to purchase scrip for everyday expenses like food, clothing, and entertainment; while earning a percentage of each dollar of scrip purchased back in revenue for the church. It is a national program that allows us to sell gift cards that can be used like cash at familiar stores, restaurants and entertainment venues. The sponsoring businesses then offer a percentage of our sales back to the church.
You contribute to the mission of our church without spending one extra dime!
Great ideas include birthday & thank you cards (teens love gas cards too!),
planning your vacation for gas, shopping and eating at chain restaurants, Best Western, Holiday Inn, etc. There is no cost to you, only the time to fill out the order form attached below. Once completed, the orders and monies are due by noon Sunday to the Scrip Committee or in the Scrip mailbox. Scrip "gift cards" will be delivered the following Sunday after church. (Scrip gift cards will be available on Thursday of the week that they are ordered.) If you need your gift cards prior to Sunday, please contact Lynn Kerchen at lynn.kerchen@comcast.net arrange for pick-up.
